Philosophy
M.Patmos is a women's total look ready-to-wear label based in New York City and launched by designer Marcia Patmos in 2011.
Prior to launching her namesake line, Marcia Patmos was co-founder of cult-favorite cashmere brand Lutz & Patmos.
With M.Patmos, she has expanded beyond cashmere into a full collection, bringing her knowledge of woven and knitwear techniques, with a focus on fine fabrics and the importance of everyday wearability to the forefront.
Using architectural silhouettes, unique textures and a sophisticated both neutrals and graphic color palettes, M.Patmos strikes the perfect balance between luxury and craftsmanship, function and comfort, versatility and elegance.
A portion of each collection is proudly made in the USA. In addition, sustainable and eco-friendly practices are used whenever possible in the manufacturing and sourcing processes.
In 2011 the brand was awarded the prestigious Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award. In 2012, it received acknowledgement for environmentally friendly design practices by CFDA/Lexus Eco-Fashion Challenge, and was named one of the “top 50 most innovative fashion companies in the world” by Fast Company magazine. In July 2014, it won the US 2014/15 US Woolmark Prize.
