Calvin Rucker is a women's clothing brand founded by Caroline Calvin & Joie Rucke.
The creative duo met in 1995 while both were rising designers at LEVI’S in San Francisco and, after 17 years, they realized their long-standing entrepreneurial dream by launching Calvin Rucker, an innovative new brand of casual couture, which merges a luxurious, sexy classicism with a rebel streak of casual and which will forge a new category in the ready-to-wear market.
Their philosophy is “Casual Couture for the Creative Class” and they were inspired by the sexy and timeless music icons of the late 60s and early 70s.
The end result establishes a new fashion category designed for the chic, modern woman that combines the best of two segments, casual and couture.
