Wouters & Hendrix is a belgian jewelry brand result of a unique balance between traditional craftsmanship and the tendencies of today.
Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix both graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in their native Antwerp, Belgium. They began designing jewelry together 25 years ago and have since become a fixture in Antwerp's fashion scene.
The duo have continually surprised with their creative ideas, sophisticated designs and their ongoing adaptation of ancient techniques.
Their original silver and gold designs tell their own story using original combinations, colourful childhood memories and bizarrely references: humor is an endless inspiration in their work, resulting in fashion-forward and eclectic pieces.
Chains, medallions and pendants reoccur in the different collections, as a dialogue between ostentation and austerity, between shadow and light.
The exquisite handwork and couture finish of Wouters & Hendrix jewelry has earned them an international following.
