Philosophy

Giuseppe Di Morabito Milano è un brand fondato nel 2014 a Milano dal designer Giuseppe Di Morabito, classe 1992, uno dei talenti più creativi e promettenti della sua generazione.

Giuseppe Di Morabito rispetta la tradizione stilistica attualizzando il ready-ro-wear in modo moderno e internazionale, rivolgendo uno sguardo privilegiato ai contesti e le immagini di ieri, inserendo nella trama delle sue collezioni estetiche odierne.

La sua prima collezione Primavera Estate 2016 ha debuttato al Who is On Next!? dopo essere stato selezionato da Vogue Italia e da figure istituzionali del fashion-system. La stampa e i buyers italiani e internazionali hanno apprezzato la collezione.

Simboliche le parole usate dal New York Times ha scritto che "gli ospiti sono rimasti incantati dalla sua collezione di camicette eteree e di abiti svolazzanti".

Vogue Italia e il comitato di Altaroma, hanno sostenuto Giuseppe invitandolo a sfilare con la collezione AI 16/17 a Roma, durante la settimana della Couture italiana nello scorso mese di Gennaio.

Giornali e riviste specializzate hanno scritto ampiamente sullo show AI 16/17, l’ispirazione, lo stile unico e personale dei capi della sfilata.

Tra gli altri MFF Milano Finanza, Il Sole 24 Ore e l’agenzia Ansa hanno scritto sul Catwalk a proposito dei capi ispirati dall’arte italiana, contaminati da uno spirito post-romantico e rock.

Giuseppe Di Morabito rappresenterà l’Italia per la sezione Womenswear all’ambito International Woolmark Prize.
