Inspired by his love for Japan’s beauty, aesthetics, culture and history, Creative Director and Designer Emiliano Laszlo conveys in his collections the “natural elegance” of men from the Far East such as the likes of Japanese actor, director, writer Yukio Mishima and Hong Kong actor Tony Leung.
The Italian craftsmanship is mixed with influences from the Far East: soft shapes, inspired by the traditional Japanese kimonos, for pieces of clothes which are very elegant but nevertheless precise.
Oriental style plays a big role in his inspiration, which is reflective in his fabric choice, color palette and silhouettes: typical Japanese textiles, such as muslin and linen, meet small and precious details of style that dress the shirts’ buttons or the internal pockets of the double-breasted yukatas.
