Philosophy
In 2000 the shoe designer Rene Caovilla Fernando gave his name to a luxury and glamour footwear brand known for its jewellery sandals, loved by Hollywood celebrities.
Rene Fernando joined the company founded by his father Edward in 1950, specializing in exclusive sculpture shoes, related to art and fashion.
Rene Caovilla has collaborated with couturier Valentino Garavani for twenty years, creating cult objects, later with John Galliano at Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel, and then he established his own brand in the Fashion System.
Python, crocodile and karung, silk, satin and fine fabrics are used for boots, pumps, flats and sandals, as well as bags and wedding shoes collections.
All Caovilla designs are embellished with pearls, ruffles studs, Swarovski crystals and Murano glass beads, sapphires and rubies.
