Eight & Bob produces fragrances and beauty products for man.
Fragrances are definitely sublime but it's their story that make them irresistible.
Albert Fouquet is Parisian perfumier who invents scents with his butler Philippe; Albert used to wear his creations during special occasions and, during one of these evening who meets John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
Kennedy has remained totally intoxicated by Albert’s scent, asking him the name of that perfume; the day after Albert delivered to Kennedy a bottle of perfume.
After coming back to US, the President wrote to Albert, asking him to send eight samples, plus one for his brother Bob.
Thus "Eight & Bob" was born and, in a very short time, the scent won over the American bourgeoises and socialites, such as Cary Grant and James Stewart.
Albert died in a car accident and Philippe, the only depository of recipe, had been involved for years in the perfumes creation.
During the Second World War, in order to avoid a Nazi boycott, Philippe hid scents inside hand-carved books.
Celso Fadelli, CEO of Intertrade Europe, has recently re-launched the fragrance, tracking down those famous books and renewing its packaging.
The secret of "Eight & Bob" is an aromatic plant, called Andrea, a rare Chilean wild grass, that defines the bouquet with a bitter note, featuring the sweet scent of vanilla.
