Pantofola D'oro

Philosophy

Pantofola D'oro is an Italian brand of technical sports and leisure footwear, for men and women, founded by Emidio Lazzarini in 1888;  Lazzarini,  son of shoemakers in Ascoli, started producing shoes for wrestling.

In the 50’s Lazzarini realized that his shoes could be ideal for football; he refined the leather sole, giving extreme softness to footwear.

Football players baptized the shoes “pantofole d’oro” (golden slippers); at first the company produced footwear for Ascoli Piceno, the local team, then products were realized for the most important international teams like Real Madrid and Juventus.

In the 70’s the company also extends production to cycling footwear and many other  sports.

Today Pantofola d’Oro creates sports and casual footwear, made in Italy, characterized by a great attention to detail, tradition, craftsmanship, precious materials and innovative design.
