Dice Kayek is a Paris-based total-look womens clothing line that blends East and West culture, the traditional and the modern, the luxurious and the sober.
The creative mind behind the brand are Turkish sisters Ayşe and Ece Ege, a visionary duo engaged in a constant act of reinventing tradition; they founded Dice Kayek, in Paris in 1992, a fashion brand that reflects their Turkish origins and displays their Ottoman cultural influences in their post-romantic, feminine designs.
Living and working between Istanbul and Paris, their couture draws inspiration from Islamic architecture and crafts, elements of which they draw upon to create bold contemporary garments all Made in Turkey.
They won the Victoria & Albert Museum's Jameel Prize 2013 with Istanbul Contrasts, a collection that blended fascination for traditional textiles, oriental aesthetic elements with spatial references and a pinch of modernity.
Since its foundation, the company has taken its collections to five continents. Today with their diffusion line Pink Label, luxuty line Black Label and made-to-measure couture Gold Label, Dice Kayek is a leading example of Turkish textile skill.
