Karen Millen

Philosophy

The English brand Karen Millen focuses on clothing and accessories for women.

The company was founded in 1981 by Kevin Stanford and Karen Millen, beginning with the production and sale of white shirts; in 1983 they opened their first store in Kent.

Since then the company has continued to expand its business, and today the brand boasts its presence in UK, Europe, Russia, Asia and Australia.

Gemma Metheringham became the creative director of the brand in 2006, managing twelve designers which create ready-to-wear, accessories and underwear.

Karen Millen produces twelve collections seasonally, proposing day wear and the more formal apparel.

Clothes for everyday life, dresses for the night, belts, handbags, watches, jewellery and sunglasses; very glamorous creations for a comfortable and elegant woman.

Karen Millen is known worldwide for its perfect cuts, including trendy leather jackets, coats, the perfect fit trousers, choosing pale colours and darker ones such as black, gray and brown.

Brand is a great success stories of British fashion; this successful fashion English company is considered a major player in the fashion business, with a international growth, regardless of global economic crisis.
