Yoshio Kubo

Philosophy

Yoshio Kubo is a menswear brand founded by the homonymous Japanese designer.

Kubo, graduated at the Philadelphia University's School of Textile & Science in 2000, has worked for four years at Robert Danes, a brand of haute couture.

In April 2004, he returned to Japan to create his own label, proposing garments with a great care to details and finishes.

Yoshio loves to mix high- tech fabrics to classic garments, such as jackets and trousers; he presents dandy visions which perfectly suit to the metropolitan dress codes.

Futuristic collections not only propose garments to protect the body from cold or hot, but they are able to capture movements of the human body and combine them with “ad hoc” fabrics.

Yoshio Kubo's apparel offers new horizons, visions and scenarios, creations which also mix street style, thanks to low-rise trousers with drawstring and graphic pattern, worthy of a nerd.

Black&white flashes on gray and military green, colours characterize the cutting edge and underground outfits of the brands.
