Qasimi

Philosophy

Qasimi was founded by Khalid al Qasimi; the fashion designer was born in the United Arab Emirates, then he moved to London and after graduating in literature and architecture, he attended the popular Central Saint Martin.

In 2008 the launching collection at London fashion Week, critically acclaimed, proposed masculine garments with feminine silhouettes.

Since 2010, the Arab designers has been decided to move away from womenswear, focusing only on menswear; his collections propose austere and rigorous garments, full of dark shades, often contrasting with white.

Qasimi's creations are inspired by the social and political issues, architecture and contemporary art, aiming to unconventional and committed men.

Every piece is basic and sober, through the use of stiff fabrics such as leather and semi-transparent PVC.

Every detail seems to always be in the right place, in perfect harmony with the severity of its forms and the accuracy of its geometric and angular cuts.
