Philosophy
Camper is a Spanish footwear brand, founded in Mallorca in 1877.
In 1975, after a century, Lorenzo Fluxà Junior raises the family business; he reinvents the traditional canvas and recycled leather shoes, used by the Mallorcan craftsmen, called "Camaleon"
The name comes from the new design, which means "farmer" in Catalan.
Functionality, tradition and technology characterize the Camper shoes, with their typical rubber sole.
The intuition is rewarded with an instant success, especially among young people who live the lively night life of Madrid and Barcelona.
The company launched other designs and in 1994 Fluxà started a partnership with the French brand Agnès B, who exposed Camper in its international boutiques.
Camper makes comfortable, durable and original shoes, available in a wide range of designs; leather or fabric waterproof footwear have non-slip soles, and the new “360° stitching” presents a single seam, all around the foot.
