El Campero

Philosophy

El Campero, founded in Siena in the 60’s, is specializing in belts and leather accessories, and in camperos boots.

Camperos were popular in the 80’s, especially in the "paninari" subculture.

El Campero products are back in the limelight, among the devotees of a more advanced and underground streetstyle.

In 2009, the Sorore group decided to invest in the brand, focusing on classic cowboy boot, originally linked to the culture of Argentinean campesinos.

Today boots are renewed with an urban-chic twist; tradition, innovation and refined design contribute to the production of belts and comfortable and versatile ankle boots.

Leathers are chosen with care, as the decorations and red-hot etched soles, which are characterized by a slightly red  brushstroke.

Camperos are subjected to exclusive washing, thanks to a mixture of oils, waxes and powders, giving them a distressed mood; these footwear are refined, comfortable and waterproof.

Products uniqueness  is also given by the sculptured buckles on boots and belts, made of precious bronze through the lost wax molds.

Nuances are very similar to the old calf, in fact, all the leathers colours are also available in a wide range of shades, from dark brown up to black, gray and cream.
