Loro Piana

Philosophy

The well-known Loro Piana company produces garments made of rare yarns with the typical Made in Italy quality.

The founder Pietro Loro Piana is the heir of a family who belongs to the wool market, and he founded the company in 1924.

After First World War Franco Loro Piana, Pietro grandson, joined the leadership of the company, making it a popular Made in Italy high fashion brand, as well as the largest cashmere company and the most important buyer of the finest wool.

Loro Piana has been producing for six generations refined and elegant sportswear for men, women and children, sold in the luxury market; knitwear, coats, accessories, handbags, shoes and leather goods, the refined tailoring service, using fine fabrics such as soft wool and the most exclusive cashmere.

The bomber jacket with the inner detachable fur is one of Loro Piana “must have”.

Company leads the production of items made of "Hircus" baby goat, sheared harmlessly in their 3 months old.

Loro Piana buys cashmere and "baby cashmere" directly from China and Mongolia producers, merino wool from Australia and New Zealand, and the rare "vicuña" wool from Peru.

Company has always been against livestock exploitation, contributing to the local industry development.

All Loro Piana products are classy, witnesses of a timeless taste, aimed to a high-profile consumer who look for excellence beyond fashion.

Loro Piana plays a modern style in perfect balance between beauty and functionality, comfort and versatility, lightness and absolute quality.
