Acqua di Parma

Philosophy

Acqua di Parma is an important brand of perfumes; it was born in 1916 from a small fragrances’ factory located in the heart of Parma.

Thanks to fresh and original fragrance created by masters perfumers, called Colonia Acqua di Parma, the company reached a great success and the perfume became the most popular scent.

The company was taken over by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Diego Della Valle and Paolo Borgomanero in 1993.

These three businessmen have always supported Italian luxury; they revamp the brand that reached important successes and achievements, including the opening of the first boutique in Via del Gesù, Milan, in 1998 and several corners in the most popular department stores worldwide.

Since 2003 the company has been being part of LVMH, the most important luxury goods company.

Acqua di Parma still proposes its classic scents like the Colonia and today offers several new products including Home Fragrance Collection, the Collezione Barbiere, Blu Mediterraneo fragrance, bags and travel accessories.

Acqua di Parma means refinement; the brand stands for made in Italy, beauty, craftsmanship and perfection where fragrances becomes a status symbol.
