Philosophy
Antonio Berardi is a British designer, with Sicilian origin, who began his experience in the magical world of fashion as John Galliano’s assistant.
He founded his own brand in 1994, realizing his lifetime dream, Berardi is an eclectic and complex designer, who does not belong to any fashion current.
Creations tell of his personal history; they mix the atavistic Sicilian romance and the strict English charm.
In this stylistic oxymoron he introduces the 80’s glamour, South America hints, Murano glasses and even British fashion quotes such as the stunning Vivienne Westwood porcelains in the boots proposed in the F/W 2002/2003 collection.
His unique and versatile style has also attracted the biggest celebrities: Courtney Love, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, Madonna, Celine Dion.
