Philosophy

Helmut Lang creates womenswear and menswear.

The brand, founded by the homonymous Austrian designer, now artist, is currently lead by the creative duo Michael and Nicole Colovos, who design the womenswear collections.

White, black and gray are the three essential colours of the collections, which reveal a basic and minimal taste.

Womenswear, with an urban core and unstructured silhouettes, includes sweaters and asymmetrical tops, dresses with deep necklines, draped on hips and waist, stretch and androgynous leather trousers, jackets with zippers, maxi necklines, blazers made of different fabrics.

Fabrics are functional, in order to highlight the soft and comfortable designs as wool, viscose and jersey; leather, is another important material also in the accessory collections, from the maxi-bag, up to the delavé clutches.

Helmut Lang aims at those who prefer a not obvious, simplicity, with enriched details and play of lines and tears.
