Alexis Mabille is a French clothing brand, proposing unisex ready-to-wear, haute couture for women, underwear and accessories; the brand was founded by the rising star of French fashion in 2005, who was born in Lyon, worked at Ungaro, Nina Ricci, Christian Dior and YSL, learning how to freely move between prêt-a-porter and haute couture.
Alexis Mabille, versatile and chameleon-like designer, offers momentary stylistic surprises, ranging from school-girl up to dark sophisticated style, reinventing classic garments such as tuxedo, bow ties and old-fashioned cashmere cardigan, in order to create hybrid creations, frivolous , dandy, precious, but also extravagant.
Hollywood celebrities, pop stars and even Madame Sarkozy love the brand, that offers clothes and accessories made of vintage fabrics, crocodile leather, silk, rhinestones, sequins and feathers.
Mabille proposes on the catwalk a schoolgirl style, Gothic open-to booties, androgynous wrinkled shirts, dark green velvet dress with mesh sleeves, bright red laminate jackets matched with shorts, haute couture jackets and trousers, suits, two-tone pantsuits, shimmering peacoat on vintage princely gowns, with embroidery and lace.
