In 1978 an all woman team conquers Annapurna’s peak, it is the first time for an American expedition.
They unfurl three flags: the American, the Nepalese and the one with their motto: “A woman’s place is on top”.
That same year, following that inspiration, a woman establishes a knitwear Company run by a staff of women and she names it Annapurna; from that moment a “female-minded” firm is born.
