Philosophy
Alain Quilici is an Italian brand of footwear for women, created by the homonymous designer, who was born in Lucca and specializes at Polimoda in Florence.
The architectural Alain Quilici’s creations are characterized by the use of plateau and "post-grunge" style, future-oriented, innovative and original.
The stunning design and the personal vision of the designer are the sign of the brand, which offers ultra-flat and laced-up, leather sandals with buckles and high wedges; designs with platform and high heel which climb over the ankle
And also boots, pumps, brogues, ankle boots, seductive “bondage” shoes, “open toe” with wood platform that joins heel and toe as an ice skate.
Alain Quilici creates art works which represent the synthesis of man and machine, a struggle between flesh and metal.
And the latter wins.
History repeats itself as in "Blade Runner", "Matrix" and "AQ"; the human being man is forced to live in an artificial world created by itself and bodies undergo irreversible hi-tech mutations.
