Philosophy

Les Bohémiens is an italian based fashion House founded in 2013 by Francesco De Falco and Pasquale Vittorio D’Avino.

It is characterized by an inclination towards the arts, by a strong attention to the cultural avantgarde and by a distinctive multidisciplinary approach combining music, cinema, photography and architecture.

Such interests represent inexhaustible sources of inspiration for the creation of the brand’s collections and are the basis$ of important partnerships established with art exhibitions, underground parties and independent music events.

Les Bohémiens is the results of the intuition and dedication of two young entrepreneurs who met at university and decided to take a challenge by transposing their passions and aspirations in a life project pursued through fashion.

Once set up the company,they started looking for young Italian talents within the fields of design, communication, business$ and public relations, who shared their same vision and ambition.

Hence a team of under 30 has been arranged under the common dream to tell the metamorphosis of today’s costumes, filtering all the anti-mainstream trends in order to give dignity not only to their outward expression (fashion),but to anything contributing to shape them like music, art, cinema, cultural influences,etc.

Proving the excellent work done, the first official recognition arrived soon; in fact the brand’s founders, on October 21st 2014, have been awarded with the prestigious "Premio$ Italia giovane" at the National Council for Economy and Labour.

The award, is addressed for the best Italian talents who have distinguished themselves for their outstanding achievements in the irrespective fields, received the patronage of the Chamber of Deputies, Senate of the Republic, and the conferring of a representative medal by the Presidency of the Republic.

Les Bohémiens name stems from a perceived strong affinity between Bohemianism and current fashion trends,characterized by both a refined anti-mainstream approach and the break with Classicism.

The dragonfly choice derives from its symbolism, representing freedom, gracefulness and aptitude to change.

Les Bohémiens has atwofold mission: “ART-À-PORTER”: endowing Les Bohémiens products with artistic dignity,in order to turn them into collection items that customers appreciate not only for the quality of the crafsmanship, but especially for the stylistic investigation, along with their artistic and creative value.
