Behind thebrand areOliver Luhr, a graduate at Saint Martins in London who has worked with Balenciaga and Chloé in Paris and Thomas Bentz, a degree in International Politics specializing in Middle East affairs,
In 2011 they founded the label Achtland, accompanied by the roaring sound of medial euphoria.
The name derives from the mythical Celtic queen that reflects the determination and the strenght of character lying at the heart of the brand's DNA, for a confident, worldly woman.
The line features collections with a cosmopolitan, colourful flair rich in detail; their signature style combine opposites: wearability and experimentation, classic textiles and innovative techniques, the formality of a men’s dress shirt paired with the femininity of a supple silk georgette.
