After an impressive 10-year career as a lawyer, designer and founder Sophie Pfeffer-Shapira turned to her first love: jewelry.
Passionate about vintage accessories, pearls and gemstones but also Japanese print paper, she founded her refined line in 2004, charming French and international women with her collections combining semi-precious raw stones, Swarovski crystals and gold for a decade.
The brand draws inspiration from travelling and culture, which creates a harmonious blend between urban and tribal, contemporary and primitive arts with symbolic gems, while maintaining an elegant and feminine refinement.
5 Octobre rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings appeal to the women who like to combine and create a look with their jewelry, reflecting their mood or style du jour.
In 2011, the Parisian art museum Maillol asked her to create special pieces for the exhibition dedicated to the Spanish artist Miró; all her jewelry became the new hip among the fashion editors, Cosmopolitan and Femmes, among others.
