Adaism is a bags collection created by artist Annett Bourquin and passionately crafted by hand using carefully selected materials.
Annett Bourquin is a handmaker and photographer who, through her images and ispirations, tells the story of the journeys made to places like Maputo or Copenhagen and the people she meets along the way.
Based between Lisbon and Berlin, she’s also a designer of a limited edition artistic objects collection, crafted by hand in the Adaism atelier and inspired by japonese simplicity, africans imagination, the nowness of Berlin, the nature and tradition of Portugal.
Annett’s iconic bags collection, Saco De Papel, is a spacious clutch with magnetic snap closure that reminds one instantly of the classic brown paper bag, carefully crafted with a single piece of finest vegetable tanned calfskin, lambswool or cork skin, available in subtle colours or in metallic tones, incredibly soft to the touch.
