Philosophy

Mother of Pearl è un marchio londinese d'abbigliamento femminile, nato da un'idea di Maia Norman e Amy Powney, nel 2002.

Maia e Amy hanno sempre avuto un forte legame con il mondo dell'arte, a tal punto da razionalizzare un'estetica che fonde un abbigliamento sporty-chic a tessuti lussuosi, ma anche a una tavolozza estetica, dove i colori creano geometrismi e tagli inusuali.

I pattern sembrano dipinti ad olio sui tessuti e la luce comanda abiti narrativi dalla struttura neutra.

Noto per le sue collaborazioni con artisti, Mother of Pearl si basa su stampe emozionanti e dal fascino bohémien.
