FIVE BRANDS YOU HAVE TO KNOW

There is an item that we do not love to throw away, and notwithstanding the continuous evolution of the trends, and the change of season, it is always jealously guarded in our wardrobe.

It never goes out of the scene, during the summer, it has not holiday and during the winter, it is not so light.

We are talking about the iconic and timeless denim.

Jeans is versatile, easy and never ordinary; it can be high or low-waist, with buttons or zip, boyfriend or skinny.

It was able to upset the fashion system. It underwent many changes, thanks to which it is ageless in all its variations.

Do you remember the jeans worn by Farrah Fawcett as Jill Munroe in Charlie’s Angels?

It is impossible to forget that allure in Bell Bottom and mini t-shirt, perfect mix for her, feminine icon of the TV.

In the '70s, the faded washings were revolutionary and trendy, today personalization is the key in a world constantly subject to changes.

As Yves Saint Laurent said, "Blue jeans is the most spectacular, practical, relaxing and informal item; it has expressiveness, sex appeal and simplicity."

Here there are five brands that every woman has to know, love and wear!

Citizens of Humanity
The Parisian Jerome Dahan is the founder of this brand, born in 2003. He has a creative soul and he applies his talent to the definition of the aesthetics of CoH: an imaginary that mixes a French pop feeling of the 60s with all the charm of Southern California. He is a visionary and the first to bring the concept of luxury denim to the global market. Today the Citizens of Humanity offers a wide range of casual and contemporary models characterized by perfect fit, exclusive fabrics and innovative scourings.

J Brand
J Brand, a glamorous brand born in 2005 from denim producer Jeff Rudes and former fashion designer Susie Crippen, has always focused on clean lines, silhouette and fitting. The brand has been able to become the object of desire of many American stars and one of the leader in denim wear thanks to that sound that mixes notes of style, wearability and fashion. J Brand offers a contemporary wardrobe for a modern woman who wants to feel good. The slimming and fitting line is an example: thanks to its structure and its scourings, it is able to give to the women a breath-taking side B!

Frame

Launched in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson, Frame was born in order to create the perfect jeans, combining the typical denim heritage of Los Angeles, with the influence of a British style, made of rigor, perfect cuts and flawless wearability. The California-based company is divided between West Hollywood and Shoreditch, but the garments are produced in Los Angeles: each creation is designed for a self-confident woman who wears jeans to enhance her look and her silhouette.

R13
R13 is an American luxury denim brand, founded in 2009 by Chris Leba. The identity of the designer has been hiding for several years, but it was clear from the beginning that the brand descends from the rebellious spirit of America and from a kind of unshakable authenticity. Avant-garde silhouettes are mixed with incomparable craftsmanship and innovative finishes. Designed for a confident clientele who likes to wear cool clothes, with a strong personality and an androgynous style, R13 has an attitude rock with a unique fitting and a soft and elastic structure.

Current Elliott

Current Elliott, launched in 2008, has become famous for its unique silhouettes, classic cuts and boyfriend denim that is a real must. The brand, appreciated by overseas stars, comes from the work of Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, who, not satisfied by the models in circulation, decide to buy vintage jeans and customize them by hand with treatments and applications, giving them unique fits. Vintage influences and historical references: the shabby look blends with the 50's high waist style, while the skinny denim as well as the boyfriend characterized by the baggy fit are really particular thanks to the used effect and a comfort-chic look.
