Moncler

Philosophy

Moncler is a fashion house founded by Renè Ramillon in  Monestier de Clermont, an Alpine town near Grenoble, which took its name, in 1952.

Maison Moncler creates trendy and haute couture down jackets lines with the particular cockerel logo.

Moncler, with the precious and glamour models, it is more than a simple jacket: it is conceived to help the extreme sport’s challenges with glamour, offering protection from the ski runs to the rainy city streets.

Brand avails itself of the most important mountaineers collaboration to create its items, as Lionel Terray.

At first the company provides the equipment for the great challenges as the Italian K2 climbing, becoming famous during the Grenoble Olympics Games in 1968, as French team main partner.

Today it is a fashion design object, revised by popular designers.

It is the 80’s must have, the “paninari” uniform, one of the most popular Italian fashion trend.

The brand conceives a chic down jacket, without the gawky effect, choosing slim and polished lines.

Collections propose both brilliant and sparkling colors and the black laquè between wool and tweed.

Nylon is the main fabric but they have the classic and glamour 50’s coat shapes.

Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu, the jacket couture collections are part of the main Moncler line for men and women.
